Who We Are
A growing network of businesses with food excess and service organizations that distribute food, clothes, and toiletries to those in need in every way possible.
This organization began modestly as a grass roots effort to feed the homeless on the streets and subways in NYC. Then it began utilizing food from entertainment companies. This organization was founded as the 501c3 Catering for the Homeless, Inc. in June 2018.
The organization exploded in 2020 during the Pandemic. The organization has now provided over 2 million meals in Indiana, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and most predominantly in New York State and NYC.
In June 2023, under the same EIN Tax ID#, Catering for the Homeless, Inc. became The Solution to Hunger, Inc. The name was changed in order to alleviate confusion about the organization being a catering company, or ONLY providing food to the homeless. The Solution to Hunger is a clear, direct name for what this organization is.
We are 110% committed to seeing this vision through to completion and turning this into the only national program feeding America through food excess. We have complete faith that this organization is The Solution to Hunger. And we are dedicated to working towards this goal for the rest of our lives.
